Obverse features the fourth laureate and draped head of Charles II, inscribed CAROLVS II DEI GRATIA.

Reverse features crowned cruciform shields with a garter star at the centre and interlinked conjoined C’s at the angles. inscribed MAG BR FRA ET HIB REX. The edge is inscribed with the regnal year in words.
