Still retains reasonable detail possibly ex-jewellery has been cleaned in past
Still a good coin for a collection with UNC examples now making in excess of five figures
Designed by Benedetto Pistrucci the obverse features the George III laureate head and is inscribed GEORGIVS D:G BRITANNIAR REX F:D:. The Reverse bears St. George slaying the dragon and is inscribed HONI SOIT QUI MAL Y PENSE.
