1818 Sovereign Mint State Rare George III

Stunning George III 1818 sovereign, Was graded by NGC MS61 mint state

I purchased this coin as a graded NGC MS61 coin, I removed the coin from the slab and its been in my own collection for a while, this 1818 sovereign was clearly under graded by NGC as I have sold MS62 & MS63 grades not as nice as this coin, I have kept the NGC slip from the slab and you can verify with the number on the slip this was the coin they graded by the pictures on NGC site, you could easily send this coin back to NGC and expect a better grade than the MS61 they original gave the coin,

Designed by Benedetto Pistrucci the obverse features the George III laureate head and is inscribed GEORGIVS D:G BRITANNIAR REX F:D:. The Reverse bears St. George slaying the dragon and is inscribed HONI SOIT QUI MAL Y PENSE
